This balm is the sister to Rose Magic Face Serum, crafted with the same wild Irish rose hips and deeply nourishing oils, with the added richness of local Irish beeswax to create a soft, protective, velvety balm, and some additional magical essential oils.
At the heart of this balm are Irish rose hips, gathered slowly through the autumn from hedgerows and quiet wild places. These vibrant hips are the final offering of the rose before she rests for winter, holding the warmth of summer, the fullness of autumn, and the gentle nourishment she is known for. They are infused into organic jojoba and olive oils for a full moon cycle, allowing their colour, vitality, and subtle energetics to move into the oils.
To this infusion, I blend in pure Irish beeswax, giving the balm its beautiful texture, soft enough to melt instantly on warm fingertips, yet protective enough to shield delicate facial skin. It creates a comforting cocoon for the complexion, especially in colder months or as part of a night-time ritual.
The aromatic blend in this balm is centred on Pure Rose Otto, bringing a soft, deeply comforting rose scent. To support and uplift this aroma, I’ve added:
Lavender for her calming, soothing qualities
Juniper for her clear, bright, cleansing presence. Traditionally used for energetic and psychic space clearing, as well as creating a sense of spaciousness.
Geranium to add a gentle floral roundness that helps the rose shine even brighter
