I'm really happy to share this creation with you this Summer.
 
I've been wanting a honey and flower face balm to apply to massage into my skin at night and this is what came through.
 
Throughout May, the roses started to bloom. Here in this face balm, I've gathered the native Rosa canina, also known as the dog rose. This is said to be one of the most ancient roses in Ireland. I love her because of her soft pink colour, along with her yellow loving centre. Her scent is so divine - soft, gentle and deeply loving, like a special embrace for our senses and spirit. 
 
I gathered these rose petals throughout our garden and special places throughout Ireland and infused them for the month of May in a high vibrational, pure and organic extra virgin olive oil. I love working with olive oil, especially for night balms as the olive tree holds such deep nourishment. We are very lucky to have access to such divine high quality olive oils throughout Europe. The one I select to create this balm with is the best and I am delighted that this olive oil holds the imprint of the rose petals.
 
Then after this infusion of rose petals in olive oil, the rose infused oil is gently warmed with the very best high vibrational honey scented pure Irish virgin beeswax. This block of beeswax (as shown in the photos) is truly divine. The difference between this virgin beeswax and normal pure beeswax is that it is an extremely precious film of wax extracted from honey filled honeycombs, therefore still holding bits of honey, making this beeswax carry a deeply beautiful gentle scented magical honey scented aroma. The skin and soul loving qualities of this virgin beeswax alone is out of this world. Combining it with roses, olive and lavender, is just a truly special gift I am so happy to infuse together and share with you.
 
At the very last step of this Rose and Honey face balm creation, a gentle few drops of a very lovingly sourced organic, true Lavender Vera essential oil from France is dripped into the balm.
 
The nourishment of this balm is deep, loving and gentle. Her scent is also very gentle. You'll notice the loving scent of local virgin beeswax and soft floral scents from the rose petals and lavender. 
 
This balm is deeply nourishing. Scoop a tiny amount onto your finger tips and massage over and into your face. 
 
I love using this balm before bed. It feels like a luxurious dreamy loving face balm and the gentlest, lightest honey mask.
 
You may use her during the day too if you like.
